At The Party, we’re fierce believers in the power of celebration and joy! We understand that, while food, shelter, and health are the basic needs for children, it doesn’t stop there.
Encouraging celebration is a critical part of childhood development. And whether it’s throwing confetti or blowing out birthday candles, giving every child the chance to celebrate promotes a brighter future for each one!

That marked the start of Celebrate RVA back in 2013. Because we know that children deserve to be showered with love and joy - especially on that one special day every year.
And since then, we’ve delivered these unforgettable experiences to over 2,500 children across the Richmond region.
When you join The Party, your monthly gift gives children in our community the opportunity to feel the joy and excitement only a kid can feel. The rush of adrenaline when they see their birthday party decorations. The sparkle in their eyes when they see a perfectly frosted cake and the glow of their birthday candles.
