Our Birthday Bag Delivery program brings celebration to more than 5,000 children across the Richmond region every year. The 2024-2025 School Request Form can be completed here.
Birthday bags will be delivered the first week of each month. Full of decorations, cake making supplies, small gifts, and party hat decorating activity kits, we hope that it will help your student feel celebrated and loved on their special day!

We are thrilled to share the return of in-person celebrations! Held once a month at the Celebrate Community Center, families who wouldn’t have the chance to celebrate with their children can apply to attend a special birthday party! Complete with lunch, cake, activities, and gifts, we can’t wait to share all the resources you need to celebrate with your child. You can apply here for January 2025!

We believe joy is transformative and has the potential to truly change a child’s life. Celebrate RVA’s mission is to give children the chance to celebrate and enjoy their birthday in a safe and fun environment. We host birthday parties for underserved children in Richmond who otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity to have a party for their special day.

Make A Child’s Day, Volunteer With Celebrate RVA
Come help us celebrate a child on their special day. You will assist with fun activities, sing “Happy Birthday”, decorate party hats, and most importantly share smiles and laughs to kids in need! Our volunteers are the backbone of our organization, we welcome you to join us in making all children’s birthday celebrations memorable.
Help Us share birthday joy Through the PArty Program
One Wish. All the difference. Just $15 a month. Become a monthly sponsor and you will be matched with one of our birthday children each month to help celebrate and make their birthday special. Each month you will receive an email introducing you to one of our birthday kids who will share with you what their birthday means to them. By the end of the year, you get to know and impact twelve children’s lives by donating to make their birthday a joyous memory.
